Translucent laminated glass
A combination of our standard laminated glass range with a frosted privacy interlayer, VLam™ Translucent provides a low maintenance privacy solution by obscuring vision and diffusing light.
VLam™ Translucent provides a frosted appearance made by bonding two sheets of glass together with a translucent PVB interlayer. The result is a durable glazing material that can be used for a variety of applications.
With a stylish frosted appearance, VLam™ Translucent is durable, reliable and designed to secure your privacy. As the translucent interlayer is contained between the two sheets of glass, the product does not show fingermarks and is easy to clean.

Considerations
Installation
- Glazing systems must allow for water drainage or be completely watertight to prevent laminated edges and the interlayer from long term moisture exposure.
- Certain sealants may cause edge de-lamination such as linseed oil or putty, neutral cure silicone sealants are recommended.
Applications
- The standard PVB interlayer is 0.38mm thick, 0.76mm and 1.52mm thicknesses are available for increased resistance from physical attack and impact.
