Guy and Jules dreamt of a home with family, creativity and connection in mind. A gathering place for family, a playground for their young sons, a creative haven for Guy’s music, and inspirational space for Jules’ lifestyle blog and podcast. The Sebastian home is everything a family home should be, a space designed with real life moments in mind.
Expansive windows line the internal perimeter of the home, this creates an abundance of light as well as a sense of connection between the indoor and outdoor. This space is ideal for entertaining, taking some time out at the pool or watching the kids playing in the backyard.
Privacy is also important, and the glass lining the internal perimeter of the home allows for privacy without the family feeling as though they are blocked in and away from the outside.
Viridian LightBridge™ double glazing was used throughout the home. Our expansive LightBridge™ range has the versatility to meet ambitious designs like this one. LightBridge™ enables those unhindered walls of glass, a centrepiece of architect Joe Snell’s design.
Acoustic glazing was installed in Guy’s studio upstairs, where he can still enjoy a seaside view and some refreshing natural light, without the hustle and bustle of what’s happening outside.
The end result is something really special, and we were honoured to be part of it. A true celebration of the capabilities of windows and glass to create special living spaces.
